I had a case where 36 yr old was offered perinatal testing but declined i.e triple test how ever ,amniocetesis was also sugeested considering her age--but she declined. morphology scan showed 2 small CPC bilaterally.. she was again counselled and offered amnio--she declined. she opted to have a repeat scan at 28 weeks hoping that they resolve at 26 weeks onwards.. The cyts did resolve at 28 weeks scan ..she was happy with the decesion --so where the medical profession ,however at 39 weeks she went in to spontanious labor and delivered a DS baby-- how do u explain this.. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
