antony_retroverted_uterusFrom: Kristine Brinson (BRINSONK@ohsu.edu)Thu May 22 12:49:19 2003
This is a MIME message. If you are reading this text, you may want to consider changing to a mail reader or gateway that understands how to properly handle MIME multipart messages. I am 15 weeks pregnant and was sent home yesterday from my amniocentesis and was told that I have a retroverted uterus and therefore they could not do the amniocentesis........They rescheduled me for the next 2wks hoping it would "right" itself by then. It there anything I can do or should be worried about. My regular obgyn is on vacation until the 30th of May (which is also when I have my next appt). Should I wait until then, or should I be doing something now. I am 37 yrs old and have previously had two miscarriages last year. I conceived on Clomed and took 600mg of progesterone until I was 11 weeks. Thanks for any advice.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
