Hi, my name is Dawn and I am 15wks pregnant. Ever since my 2nd week I have been bleeding. This only occured after sexual intercourse and than it went away. The doctor told me to not have sex for a couple weeks. I have not had sex for about 3wks now and yesterday after a heavy cough, I felt a discharge and checked and I have dark dark brown, almost black blood. This is still going on. I do have old blood chunks.Small in size along with dark blood mucus discharge. This is not extremly heavy. It is only noticed when I urinate and wipe myself. I do not need pads. I am sorry if this sounds discusting, but this is my situation. I am scheduled for a diagnostic ultrasound in a few days, Iam so scared and wonder what this may be. Could it be Placent Previa? Or what? Please respond.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
