Uterine synechia or amniotic band?From: Kimmie82577@cs.comSat May 10 07:10:38 2003
I was told that I have an amniotic band. I am 19 weeks pregnant. My physician told me that is not near the baby and not to worry. Well, after doing minimal research I am worried. I have a few questions that maybe you could answer. What is the most common defect that children are born with that suffer from an amniotic band? Is there any kind of preventive treatment?

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
