Off Topic -Spam help

I have had a horrid amount of SPAM via the obgyn.net mail address linked to my home email.

I have taken to utilizing the services at http://www.spamcop.com

If you read and obey the rules of the no spam site you will find your SPAM lessening. I also recommend, if you are interested, to join and lurk on the discussion list for spamcop. You will need to learn how to parse the headers and from there you may submit your spam which tracks the spoofed email addresses utilized. You then have an option to submit the spam for statistical reporting. OBGYN net webfolk might look into these options or for your personal use...some might be interested. Most times there is an open proxy the spammer links the spam to reroute. The only way to lessen is to report all spam to alert the webmaster of an open proxy. It is a small lifesaver in a large ocean of trash but you will see some results. There is also an option to have your email (paid service) to filter through a spamcop email account. The latter is my next step.

Be well,

Janet Tomko, RDMS

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
