Dear Recep Has I had a case of unilateral infantile poly cystic disease about 8 years ago. The mother present for the routine morpholgy scan at 18 weeks and I identified a hyperechoic kidney, the other kidney was normal. The case was sent to a tertiary centre for further scans and the appearance persisted thru the pregnancy. Scans in the neonatal period demonstrated infantile polycystic disease. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
