Porthole Synechia?body=http://www.obgyn.net/us/present/9901/worrall.htmFrom: imagen allen (imagen26@attbi.com)Tue Apr 15 15:43:48 2003
To whom this may concern~ I was told at my 19 week US I had a Synechia. They said it was more than likely caused by repeated D&C's secondary to Sponateous Abortion, and Fetal Demise. At the time of the US, the Doc, and my regular OB stated that they didnt appreciate any malformation of the fetus, however, continued to tell myself and my husband that there is a the possibility of deformity of limbs and such. I was wondering if you could give me some statistics on such topics, and any information you may have on the success of "Normal Pregnancy" with an active Synechia. Any information you may provide would be greatly appreciated. Have a wonderful day~ ~Sincerely, Imagen N. Bush EDD 8/20/03

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
