Informal Case: Live Ectopic PregnancyFrom: Ricanmami0317@aol.comMon Mar 31 22:28:13 2003
My doctor told me today that I have to repeat my sonogram because they found moderate free fluid oin cul de sac. She told me it might have been because I was ovulating. I want to know exactly what it is. All I keep reading online is about ectopic pregnacy and cysts. Could it be possible that I have or had one of these things? And can someone briefly explain to me what it is to have fluid in cul de sac? One more thing can this affect me later on if I want to have another baby? Thanks alot. Gladys

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
