Thanks dear Udaya, and all Why should fetal venous flow be affected by maternal breating........? movement artefact If movement causes these why hasn't it affected arterial flow in my case ? please see below againfor pics. Let's try geting fetal umbilical vessels doppler with wider gate to include artery + vein.........during maternal respiration (both held and active), & during fetal breathing movement to see the spectrum. Does Latha and somebody have references for fetal umbilical vein doppler, and how it is affected by fetal and maternal breathing? thanks fazeel Resending for you, Fazeel This picture was taken entirely for Fazeel's benefit. I was watching her breath and could easily see the venous flow change (indulate) with maternal breathing. The peaks of the arterial waveforms show a mild reduction in height too(coinciding with the dip in venous flow). ...Udayakumar The peaks of arterial waveforms show a mild reduction coinciding with the venous nadir. ...Udayakumar "Dr. Fazeel" wrote: > If these are due to maternal respiration, why hasn't arterial
flow been affected??i don't know answer? This is a spectral analysis of fetal cord vessels. Does the venous flow indicate, undulations due to fetal breathing movements?? or is it something else? Please also describe the arterial flow characteristics.<?XML:NAMESPACE PREFIX = O /> fazeel
