Fwd: Disappearing twin?From: Terry J. DuBose (duboseterryj@uams.edu)Thu Mar 27 10:53:48 2003
This is another question that should be on the Pregnancy & Birth Forum. Thanks, Terry J. DuBose ------------------------------------- Hello, -------------------------------------
-- ------------------------------------- I am pregnant and had an Ultrasound done at 8 weeks. The ultrasound showed two foetuses and two heartbeats. He said I am pregnant with twins, and it looked like identical twins aged around 7.5 weeks. I keep hearing about disappearing twins syndrome, what is this all about and what are the chances of this happening to me. What are the signs.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
