I would suggest you attend Barry Goldberg's Leading Edge school at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. Of course, the gold standard for sonography are the ARDMS examinations in the speciality of your choice... there are many MDs who have RDMS certifications. See http://www.ARDMS.org
