For JoeFrom: Nirvikar Dahiya (nirvi@vsnl.com)Mon Feb 17 19:32:22 2003
Hi Joe I think the phenonmenon you explained ( I have not seen the pictures yet ) could possibnly mean intra follicular hemorrhage and this can lead to formation of a hemorrhagic cyst whish will also resolve with time. Alternatively if the size of the follicle decreased and the margins were little irregular - maybe you had a ruptured follicle which may go on to form the corpus luteal cyst. Dr Nirvikar Dahiya

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
