Re: Two Yolk Sacs, one embryoFrom: wolfgang.moroder@tin.itFri Jan 31 02:00:20 2003
I am afraid that you are too worrisome for the fate of one of the two twins, I think that it is rather the size then the shape of the yolk sac which is predictive of a negative outcome of the pregnancy. I send you Terry a picture of an early mono/di with a squeezed yolk sac which had a perfect outcome. Why is the next scan scheduled only at 12 wks? Regards Wolfgang

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
