Re: Two Yolk Sacs, one embryoFrom: Terry J. DuBose (duboseterryj@uams.edu)Mon Jan 27 16:17:18 2003
Agreed. I noticed that... but I think Dr. Libardi's may be at a an earlier stage and the amnion is still tightly around the embryo, like a " >tight shirt " as Dr. Moroder pointed out. Look closely at the images on http://www.obgyn.net/us/us.asp?page=/us/present/0301/libardi_oneembryo and notice the centimeter marks at the side. They appear to be about the same side, but according to the scale, Dr. Libardi's case is about half as large as the image from the textbook. We will probably just have to wait for the follow-up on this one. Terry J DuBose.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
