Re: Male sonographers performing TVSFrom: Judi Januadi Endjun, M.D. (judidsog@rad.net.id)Tue Dec 17 02:34:59 2002
Dear Mark Russel I'm an Obstetrician Gynecologist working at Government hospital since 1993 and also performing ultrasound (transvaginal and transvaginal) until now.. Before examination, we always give informed consent and especially for transvaginal examination we asked, if she virgin or not. No side effects or complaint from women underwent transvaginal examination. Good luck ! Sincerely yours,

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
