Hello, My mother in law just passed away in June of this year with ovarian cancer she was 86. My question is concerning my daughter though. She is 37 and gave birth to a healthy boy 19 months ago ever sense she gave birth her periods have been irregular, her obgyn suggested she have a ultrasound done she did this just today, upon having it the radiologist pointed out to her that one of her overies appeared to be solid and not translucent as it should be. My question is 1. Is there any reason for alarm? 2. What reasons would make an overie solid. 3. Should she be vigilant in this area of her life and health due to her grandmothers illness, some have stated at her grandmas age she should not worry of it being passed? I appreciate your reply and your thoughts on this situation. Regards, K. Please email me at the following email address with your response-Thanks so much! WKIGO@WT.NET
