Re: Lawson: AIUM says thousands of Fetal Photo Places !!!!From: Terry J. DuBose (duboseterryj@uams.edu)Sun Oct 27 12:49:28 2002
Mark, nice face... I have not worked with a true 3D machine... I see the 3D volume of space capture and then being able to slice&dice 2D plains from the volume as more useful diagnostically than the 3D/4D surface reconstructions. At least then perhaps we can measure the fetus in true 3D volumes for better age & weight estimates; rather than treating it as if it is in "Flat Land". Anyone else have an opinion on this? Peace, Terry J DuBose, RDMS

I know it would be kewl if we all got together in a net meeting or had a chat "time".... anyway....check out this CNN health news site..... about Baby Pictures.... the Aium is quoted as saying there may be thousands of these places...... yeah like AIUM ever cared. I think they may soon. Peace, Terry J. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
