Dear Colleagues: I have just returned from a month at the new Apex Medical Center in Igbo-Ukwu, Nigeria, where I established an ultrasound lab that meets American standards, and presented ultrasound lectures along with high risk perinatologist Dr. Uchenna Nwosu. The lab is supervised by one of my graduates from the year-long ultrasound program that I conducted in Ghana. Again, the project was very successful. However, one of the transducers that was provided with our donated ultrasound machine is of little use. I would prefer to have a high frequency linear probe for the ATL UM4Plus system that the hospital sonographer is now using, so that she may do small parts scanning in addition to her other examinations. Does anyone have this probe? If so, would you care to donate it? See contact information below. ----

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
