Uterine synechia or amniotic band?From: Sreservist@aol.comThu Sep 12 22:50:25 2002
I had my 20 weeks sonogram done on 9-9-02. They found a band on top of the uterus. My concerns are the development and normal growth the baby. What are some complication with synechaie? How did it development and what cause it? What are the treatment for this and is there anything I can do from getting it worse? Does synechia improves or get worse along the pregnancy? How soon do I need another u/s to see if there any changes. What's the worst scenario? Can there be a deformity of the uterus? Is there any surgery that can correct the problem? I would appreciate all helpful advise and recommendation in situation. This will be my second child. Also I did IVF with this pregnancy and I'm very concern. Thank you for your time Judy
