I am a senior in the DMS program at Wallace State Community College in Hanceville, Alabama.During my clinical rotation at an OB/GYN office I have been fortunate to see a patient with an incompitent cervix. At her routine 20 week scan this patient was suspected to have a n incompitent cervix. Two weeks later she underwent a cerclage procedure and I am happy to say that as of 9/12/02 she was doing well with no membranous leakage, bleeding,or preterm labor.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
