Re: Fw: retroverted uterus - JoeFrom: DR. JOE ANTONY (jscan@vsnl.com)Mon Aug 26 04:32:45 2002
Not sure about the hypoechoic area. Thanks. JOe. India
> ----- Original Message ----- Dr. Joe, I don't know if this degree of retro position can explain dysmenorrhoea, but it definitely fits the definition of retroflexion more than retroversion. Interesting image... will ask to run it by the EAB for posting to our cases... The fundus appears a bit bulbous and there is the hypoechoic area in the uterus distal to the transducer. Do you think this is a myoma or perhaps a problem of perfusion due to the retroflexion? thanks, Terry J DuBose On Sat, 24 Aug 2002 06:51:44 -0500 "DR. JOE ANTONY" <jscan@vsnl.com> writes:

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
