I forgot to add that I saw a news story on the local newscast that the latest fad is to have a "Botox party." Remember Tupperware parties? well people now invite a plastic surgeon (or whoever, I guess) to a party, and the physician gives complimentary Botox injections to combat wrinkles. Talk about scary! ~Karen

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
