would anyone know what are the legalities for using unusal case studies, patient images of ultrasound studies on items like web site/brochures in the state of california? does a waiver need to be signed by patient? what about fetal ultrasound images? any help would be nice. thanks, s hernandez rdms

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
