My Ob-Gyn recommended a followup ultrasound per the ultrasound tech's request because of a increased level of cisterna magna (level of 5.5). My Ob-Gyn said is was still in the normal range but is sending me for a follow-up to make sure that the level hasn''t increased. I was wondering what this exactly means (having a increased level)? Where I could find out more information on the condition? What effects will this potentially have on the baby? Thank you for your information, Amy Smith thesillysmiths@aol.com

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
