Re: MyomaFrom: Philippe Jeanty (Jeanty@TheFetus.net)Mon May 6 12:04:57 2002
She should be able to go through (unfortunately with pain). The pain comes from the fact that the fibroids are enlarging due to the hormonal stimulation of pregnancy and that their size require more blood they they can get… So bottom line: do not worry about the baby and try to comfort your wife. -----Original Message----- From: ultrasound@obgyn.net [mailto:ultrasound@obgyn.net]On Behalf Of fekadu Sent: Monday, May 06, 2002 10:16 AM To: Multiple recipients of list ULTRASOUND Subject: Myoma I am fekadu from east africa, Ethiopia, my wife is pregnant of 20 weeks. but we now that she has got multiple myoma. due to this she is now suffering from seviour pain even after the doctors remove one by surgery.the fetus is still ok. could you please help me?

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
