How much is Showcase versus a MO drive ? The MO drive can also be used to read many images from many other machine, Also you then have native clip and you can use the Codec you want. I usually use Intel Indeo R 5 (I think !)

Dear Terry, Jeff Bradley, Martin Necas and Dr. Jeanty, My question has elicited quite a deal of intervention and Information I could use efficiently to convert my Sequoia clips into AVI. I have used the easyer way suggested by Bradley and Necas downloading Showcase which works very smoothly but unfortunately free for only 15 days. The most complex but surely elegant solution proposed by the incredibly useful lecture of Dr. Jeanty was not possible because I do not have a MO reader. But I must thank Dr. Jeanty cordially for putting all that information on the net for everyone's use ( I was able to download the file on my PC at work and on my MAC at home). There are still two problems left: the first is the different compression formats (codecs) exporting from Showcase and the second an error given by the Sequoia system while downloading clips to my computer. In fact, my system allows only to save one clip at the time for every patient and after saving it it gives an error message. Tomorrow I will contact Acuson and try to solve that. For the codec I wonder if someone is able to give me some information on how to handle it. Best regards and thank you all again Wolfgang Moroder

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
