The patient came in again today for a fetal echo, but I didn't scan her today. I'll do my best to remember....I think the fetus was around 30-31 weeks. The 3D people took a look today also, and one of the folks there remembered some work done by someone in Europe who knew all about DA, including this, and called it a kinked ductus arteriosus, and that it was a normal variant. Sure looks weird when you've never seen it before.
