What does the term “polycystic ovaries” mean? Are any certain creteria for the ultrasonographic term? Are any intermediate types?

All the above are my questions to all the phycisians to find out a certain diagnosis for polycystic ovaries. How many follicles, at what size and at which position must be seen? How long dimentions must the ovaries have? How much wide must the stroma be? Have the polycystic ovaries been diagnosed regardless the PCOs symptoms?
