Partial mole?From: Skyydiva1@aol.comTue Mar 19 08:21:34 2002
i am 8 1/2 weeks pregnant. had some bleeding at 5 weeks, took a "beta"? test, #'s came back very high-114,000. the emergency room dr. said that i could have multiple births or a partial mole. i had a sonogram at the hospital yesterday, then went back to my dr. for another blood test(hgc?) to see what the levels will be. my baby has very strong, normal heartbeat. please give me your opinion, advice, etc. my blood test results will not be back until tomorrow. thank you in advance, s.j. clary skyydiva1@aol.com

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
