LLQ Mass in a 10yr Old Female.From: GiNaG1214@aol.comFri Mar 15 12:29:51 2002
Well, I got the IUD put in on September 1, 2001, and they told me to come in when I had a normal period. So after me and my husband had intercourse for the first time he could really feel the string. So I went back to the doctors office to get it cut (which was only a month after I had the IUD put in). So finally on March 5, 2002, I had a normal period. So I went back to the doctors office again and had the IUD string checked and she said she did not see the string. So she told me to go get a pelvic ultrasound and maybe take the after morning pill just In case I got pregnant. I went to go get the pelvic ultrasound two days later and the person that was giving me the ultrasound said it was in the right place. So my question is just because they said the IUD was in the right place should I still get the morning after pill just in case? And in your own opinion do you think it would be wise to take out the IUD and use another method of birth control, just because the string fell out? Because I'm thinking I'm going to have female problems and might even get pregnant because I cant feel the string, which because I cant tell if its in place. I'm just confused and worried!!!! If there is any advise that you could give it would be greatly appreciated. I just don't want what happened to these other women happen to me. Thank Regina
