Re: 8wk pregnancyFrom: DuBose, Terry (DuboseTerryJ@uams.edu)Mon Mar 4 10:10:19 2002
I thought it was twin based upon the first 8 week images... however, as it turned out... singleton. Peace, Terry J. DuBose, M.S., RDMS Assistant Professor & Director, Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program CHRP, University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Little Rock, Arkansas, USA 501-686-6510 http://www.io.com/~dubose/ http://www.uams.edu/CHRP/dmshome.htm http://www.obgyn.net/us/panel/panel.htm -----Original Message----- From: Ross.Welch@ccmail.wirralh-tr.nwest.nhs.uk [mailto:Ross.Welch@ccmail.wirralh-tr.nwest.nhs.uk] Sent: Monday, March 04, 2002 9:27 AM To: Multiple recipients of list ULTRASOUND Subject: 8wk pregnancy having seen all three images, certainly looks like a bicornuate or deeply septate uterus. I'm not clear if this is a twin pregnancy (one in each horn) or whether it is one transverse fetus visible in both horns. Having had a (?full term) vaginal delivery before the outcome should be OK. Twins would complicate the picture but only in terms of timing and mode of delivery. Ross Welch

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
