Although I am not a medical professional I loked at this site to gather further information as I have had a cervical pregnancy which reached 14 and a half weeks gestation. As I read in here, methotrexate did not work and the baby was heart punctured although two weeks on there is still vascular activity around the cervix (where the placenta had attached.) As this is a rare form of pregnancy, or so I'm told, apparently I am the only reported case of a cervical pregnancy reaching this far in gestation.

I'm trying to gather information to take with me to the consultants at Greenlane Hospital in order to aide them if they ever have another case like my own. They have told me that at this stage surgery is still not a option due to vascular activity unless I am prepared for a hysterectomy. Please, any information about cervical pregnancies, could you send it to me at my email address.

o_len_200@hotmail.com or tigress@freenet.co.nz

Please, I am desperate for help and guidance here. What are the chances of this reoccuring? Will the methotrexate affect me in my later years? (I am only 27 and had 4 doses over a period of 3 weeks.)

Your kindly,
