I am in the final stages of reviewing a program written by one of my former fellow, Dr. Luis Goncalves. This is a very professional looking program, and we are about to implement it in large scale here. Luis is also planing to distribute this program at a reasonable cost (not the typical $100,000 !). The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
