Dr Nirvikar Dahiya, et al.

To upload images to the OBGYN.net, you go to the following page, and follow the instructions there.

http://apps.obgyn.net/ultrasound/photos.cfm ----------------------- Upload a Photo ----------------------- Image submission is for medical professionals to discuss cases and is not ----------------------- for lay people seeking diagnosis. Thank you. Please remove ALL patient identifying information prior to uploading your images!

You can automatically upload an image using this form and the Netscape browser or the very latest versions of the Microsoft Internet Explorer. If you do not see the "browse..." button at the bottom of this form then you are not using one of these web viewers. In that case, please email admin@obgyn.net for assistance. Please make sure your images are in the .gif or .jpeg format. Thank you.

BE PATIENT ... It can take several minutes to upload a large image file. ------------------------ A few suggestions, the image needs to be on your PC hard drive, and you ------------------------ will need to click the "browse" button near the bottom of the upload ------------------------ page, and navigate to the file on your PC directory, click on the image file name to load it into the "Image for upload:" space. Simply entering the image name will not work because you must provide the "path" to the file on your PC. By using the "Browse" button, the path will be entered automatically.

if you are uploading more than a single image concerning the same case, then it is easiest if you upload the first image by clicking "Submit". When you get the page that says the image has been sent or uploaded, use your "BACK BUTTON" to return to the same UPLOAD page; then click Browse again and navigate to the next image, and so forth. In this way you do not have to enter all the text each time, but can change any specific text that may relate to that image.

I hope this is clear... it is not a difficult process, but we do often get attempts at uploads without images and I think it is the problem of not entering the appropriate path to the file on the PC. Using the Browse button to automatically enter the path/image file name is easier and less error prone than trying to type in the path.

Please let me know if any of this is not clear... thanks for your interest and participation.

Peace, Terry J DuBose, M.S., RDMS Chair, Ultrasound Section OBGYN.net

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
