Also has backache and dysmenorrhoea. On ultrasound, the uterus is bulky 9.5 x 5.0 x 6 cms size. On transvaginal scan: there is tenderness over the uterus with multiple hypoechoic areas in the myometrium. There were also multiple dilated vessels in the myometrium. What do you say?
