low lying placentaFrom: FISHBOWL816@aol.comThu Jan 31 12:59:39 2002
I have been diagnosed with low lying placenta, my last altrasound was at twenty one weeks. I also had to have an altrasound at 12 weeks because of bleeding and have had some episodes of spotting, I now have a pink discharge everyday and I was told earlier in the pregnancy that it was blood and I am concerned but thhe doctors don't seem to be. Should I just ignore it ?

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
