adnexal massFrom: Sheila (satmat@hotmail.com)Thu Dec 27 13:23:10 2001
I recently had a MRI of my hip. It showed something unusual. An cystic ovarian mass. This would not bother me except I do not have any ovaries. I had my uterus and left ovary removed in 99 and my right ovary removed 4 months ago. This was mostly due to endometriosis. I talked with my dr. and she suggested a transvaginal ultrasound to get a better picture. It also showed a cystic ovarian mass and free fluid in pelvis. She said she looked in my records and has a pathology report showing that the right ovary was removed in August. She is unsure of what this is. It is about 4 cm in size. I wondered if anyone has any ideas. I go for another Ultrasound in February. Thanks!
