ARDMS Certification for Ob/Gyn UltrasoundFrom: Persutte Wayne (Wayne.Persutte@uhcolorado.edu)Tue Dec 11 19:24:03 2001
I am in pressing need of some information. Does anyone know if there is any data that suggests that there is any clinical benefit to ARDMS certification in obstetrics ? Is there any outcomes research? Secondly, does anyone know if ARDMS certification is required to work at a California State Prenatal Diagnostic Center (associated with their MSAFP Program). -Wayne

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
