BRYAN, I would suggest you go to the archives for this forum: http://forums.obgyn.net/ultrasound/ , at the bottom of the page is a search function... search on your key words. In particular is this message which contains links to the FIGO "RECOMMENDATIONS ON ETHICAL ISSUES IN OBSTETRICS AND GYNECOLOGY BY THE FIGO COMMITTEE FOR THE ETHICAL ASPECTS OF HUMAN REPRODUCTION AND WOMEN'S HEALTH - August 2000": http://forums.obgyn.net/ultrasound/ULTRASOUND.0108/0112.html This is a comprehensive document that is an excellent reference for topics such as your's. While it is not specific to any one culture, it contains ethical resolutions that are reasonable for the vast majority of the world's cultures... or should be, IMHO. It is a required reference for my students. Peace, Terry J. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
