viable ectopic gestationFrom: DR. JOE ANTONY (jscan@vsnl.com)Thu Sep 27 23:33:26 2001
Dear all, Saw this case yesterday. Patient is female with last menses about 1 and 1/2 months back. Now has mild abdominal pain, suprapubic region. No bleeding P/V. The TV scan shows (pic) right adnexal ring shaped sac with embryo. Cardiac pulsations were present. On probing with the TV probe, she did not have any specific tenderness in that region. The uterus did not seem to be bulky (enlarged) and no signs of pregnancy were present. Urine pregtest was not done. She has one child of 2 yrs age. Well what do you think. No pics of uterus- sorry. Joe, India.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
