Polyp

I have been diagnosed via a vaginal ultrasound, to have a uterine polyp, 3mm in diameter. I had one (the same size) removed last yr. just about this time. Is it likely that this will keep recurring; and should I be considering a partial or total hysterectomy at this time. I have excessive bleeding from this since 8/31/01 and have been put on medexprogesterone, which helps to control it.

I had a tubal ligation almost 3 yrs. Ago, so do not plan on having anymore children.

Pls let me know where I can go for pros and cons of hysterectomy... Thanks so much
