Urachal CystFrom: Ellis-Bennett, Shirley (shirley_ellisbennett@memorial.org)Thu Sep 20 09:56:43 2001
I am not a physician but I have questions. My 14 year old daughter was diagnosed yesterday with a cystic mass measuring 20 x 8 x 18 with a dx of urachus cyst. Are there any case studies on urachus cysts measuring this big? Should I consult a Pediatric Surgery or a General surgeon?

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
