Dr. Zalel, I have received a request for information about the use of Doppler in the 1st trimester. I did a search on the AIUM web pages and did not find a specific statement to which you refer. In addition, it appears that the ISUOG does not have a search function on their web pages. Can you give us a URL or other reference to these recommendations? The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
