Dear friends - I thank you for all your kind and thoughtful words. Of course I am many miles from New York City and Washington DC, but the impact has been felt here. Our local Army base has increased security, so you can no longer just drive on the base and be waved on by the MP at the gate. Now there are long lines of cars waiting to be inspected, and people are waiting hours to get on the base. We are having our fall weather now, and these past few days have been beautiful. Here is an image I took from my office window this morning. Allen

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
