Ultrasound & OBGYN type new Dean of College of MedicineFrom: DuBose, Terry (DuboseTerryJ@uams.edu)Mon Jul 30 16:31:27 2001
I am very pleased that it has been announced that the new UAMS Dean of the College of Medicine is an accomplished OBGYN physician with extensive experience in ultrasound... Dr. E. Albert Reece. He should give a boost to sonography at UAMS. Dr. Reece has published with some of the best... Hobbins, Pilu, Goldstein, Romero, Moroder (could this be our own Wolfgang?), Bovicelli, Mahoney, and Rizzo... just to name a few that I recognized in a Medline search. "JULY 26, 2001 - The chair of obstetrics, gynecology, and reproductive sciences at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia will be the next dean of the College of Medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). E. Albert Reece, M.D., Ph.D., is a specialist in maternal-fetal medicine and an international expert in diabetes and prenatal diagnosis and therapy, and a former associate professor at Yale University School of Medicine." http://www.uams.edu/today/072601/reece.htm Dr. Reece, welcome to UAMS. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
