Re: Fetal lung madurityFrom: Pablo D'Angelo (pjd@post.com)Thu Jul 12 16:32:48 2001
I was wrong: the neonatologists want to know if there is some way to predict fetal hypoplasia with ultrasound, they are not concerned about how to determine maturity with ultrasound. I know the relationship between the hemithorax and the lung in case of diaphragmatic hernia to determine lung hypoplasia. I think I will apply this relationship for both hemitorax. If any one know how to do it in a non-herniated fetus, I will appreciate the information. Thanks Pablo

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
