Re: reg management of a case of dandy-walker variantFrom: Superonline (recephas@superonline.com)Sat Jun 30 17:04:49 2001
You should evaluate the vermis very carefully ,especially in sagitttal plane. If you just look at the posterior fossa and inferior vermis at axial planes, do not forget that there is a possiblity of misdiagnosis. I recommend you to read the fooolwing article of Pilu et. al. published in Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Pilu G, Visentin A, Valeri B. Related Articles The Dandy-Walker complex and fetal sonography. Ultrasound Obstet Gynecol. 2000 Aug;16(2):115-7. Review. No abstract available. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
