Re: Viruses and other OB/GYNN related topicsFrom: kathleen.murphy@gwmail.maricopa.eduTue Jun 26 10:31:32 2001
I do not want to rain on anyone's parade however I just spent the better part of a week removing a virus from my computer that originated in Russia and got attached to a web site and then launched into my computer when a friend sent me an e-mail. This virus had gone to all her e mail addresses and attached itself to everyone she sent a message to. Yes, I had Virus Scan in place but this worm still did some damage that took several days to undo. I now have a firewall installed as well as the latest online virus checker (NFI). Just to keep this on topic, we have had several requests from clinical sites for a Sonohysterogram protocol and thanks to our list I was able to direct them to the OBGYN. net site where they could access the one developed by the members on this list. So kudos to all who use the Internet to make the world a better place. Kathleen Murphy Ultrasound Program Director GWCC, Phoenix, AZ

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
