Re: plotting graphs of doppler RI,cut-off values for pulsatile dFrom: DuboseTerryJ@uams.eduMon Jun 18 08:37:12 2001
Dr. Nayana, et al... this message reminded me that there is a very good article on Doppler of the ductus venosus on OBGYN.net. See: http://www.obgyn.net/us/cotm/0012/ductusvenosus-figures.htm Peace, Terry J. Ductus venosus however is looked at differently . It is such a crucial link in fetal circulation and is always pulsatile. The Nadir (atrial systolic component) of the DV waveform should be well above the baseline on the same side as the other 2 spikes. Quiet simply, it is unidirectional flow at all times. Reversed flow ( atrail systole) is an Ominous sign. I report peak DV velocity and emphasis on the nadir. .Udayakumar dr nayana parange wrote:

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
