Re: video on powerpointFrom: Allen Worrall (jworrall@alaska.net)Mon Jun 11 15:37:40 2001
Kathleen, thank you. I looked at a B&H Photo Video ad (B&H is a large photographic/multimedia/video/audio store in New York City, where I buy all my photo gear). They have a page full of software programs for getting video into a PC, ranging in price from a little over $300, to ~$3000. I would assume to just get a video clip from SVHS analog video tape into the computer would not require a very fancy program. I would not want to enhance, change contrast, change brightness, etc, although I might want to add arrows or labels. And I would like to include the audio track which is on my video, since I narrate all my examinations. So the first question I have: which software and hardware should I buy for my Windows 98 or Windows 2000 Pro computer? Joseph A Worrall MD RDMS

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
